History
It started in the social services office.
We came to this from technology implementation, project management, and home care. In all of it, one problem kept showing up: care coordination ran on phone calls, faxes, and one person's memory. We saw what that cost the coordinators doing it, and the patients waiting on it.
MAXMRJ is the answer we built. Referrals go out to home health, hospice, DME, transport, caregiving, and assisted living placement on one set of rails. The patient or their caregiver gets check-ins for thirty days after they go home. The operator sees every building on one dashboard. The platform is live in skilled nursing facilities today, and this is the beginning.
Ray brings a unique perspective and extensive experience in healthcare, tech implementation and M&A management. Having spent 19+ years founding and leading in the senior care and software sectors, Ray is driven by a passion for helping helpers at scale.
Ray is also the founder of 1+1 Cares, a franchised, multi-location domestic referral agency that connects families with independent in-home caregivers — very often for a loved one being discharged home from a skilled nursing facility or hospital. Nineteen years of direct contact with families navigating discharge is the ground-level insight behind MAXMRJ.
Beyond work, Ray enjoys basketball and tennis, valuing teamwork and the dynamic energy of striving for excellence. As a conscious leader, Ray respects diverse perspectives and encourages this ethos within the team to bring about the best ideas and work.
