Our journey began in the complex realms of technology implementation, project management, and home care. But amid this complexity, a simple, pervasive issue stood out, the frustration and inefficiencies plaguing care coordination. Witnessing the struggles of care coordinators first-hand, we felt a call to action.
From this call, our innovative software platform was born, embodying our profound respect for the tireless care coordinators in our communities. It wasn't just about developing a solution; it was about revolutionizing care coordination. Today, our platform is not just improving healthcare processes; it is transforming it, one facility and one patient at a time. And this is just the beginning.
Founder & CEO: Ray Liu
Ray brings a unique perspective and extensive experience in healthcare, tech implementation and M&A management. Having spent 19+ years founding and leading in the senior care and software sectors, Ray is driven by a passion for helping helpers at scale.
Ray is also the founder of 1+1 Cares, a franchised, multi-location domestic referral agency that connects families with independent in-home caregivers — very often for a loved one being discharged home from a skilled nursing facility or hospital. Over 19+ years, 1+1 Cares has served 5,000+ families and screened 90,000+ caregiver applicants. That direct, at-scale contact with families navigating discharge is the ground-level insight behind MAXMRJ.
Beyond work, Ray enjoys basketball and tennis, valuing teamwork and the dynamic energy of striving for excellence. As a conscious leader, Ray respects diverse perspectives and encourages this ethos within the team to bring about the best ideas and work.
